Who are we?
Promobuddy.ai is a product of Wefixit BV (registered office: Groenstraat 6A, 3730 Hoeselt (Bilzen), Belgium — VAT BE0695575122) and is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this policy. Have a question? Email us at support@promobuddy.ai.
What data do we collect?
- Account: email address, name, company name, language preference.
- Business profile: website, industry, product information, and everything you enter or have scraped.
- Social media: tokens and channel information via OAuth (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Business).
- Content: posts, images, prompts, and approvals you create through the platform.
- Billing: via Stripe. We do not store card details ourselves.
- Usage data: via PostHog we anonymously track which screens you use, in order to improve the app.
What do we use it for?
- To deliver the service and publish your posts.
- For support and communication regarding your account.
- For billing and accounting.
- To improve the app (anonymous product analytics).
Legal basis
We process data on the basis of the contract you enter into with us (use of the service), on the basis of a legal obligation (accounting), or on the basis of a legitimate interest (product improvement, fraud prevention).
Who do we share data with?
Only with processors necessary to deliver the service:
- Supabase — database and authentication (EU).
- Vercel — hosting (EU/US).
- Stripe — payments (EU/US).
- Resend — transactional emails (EU).
- Anthropic — AI text generation (US).
- Higgsfield — AI image generation.
- Zernio — publishing to social media (EU).
- PostHog — product analytics (EU).
We have entered into a data processing agreement with each processor in accordance with GDPR Art. 28.
How long do we retain your data?
For as long as you are an active user. Upon deletion of your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where the law requires retention (e.g. invoices — 7 years).
Cookies
We only use functional cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. In addition, PostHog is used for anonymous product analytics. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Send an email to support@promobuddy.ai and we will handle your request within 30 days.
